CUTTING THE PLASTER
  • Use the following tools:

    • A sharp pair of fabric scissors (best for small cuts)

    • A fabric rotary cutter, a ruler (best for long, straight cuts) and a cutting mat

    • Any other thin, sharp blade cutter

  • If you use a rotary cutter, make sure you use it with a cutting mat to protect your desk surface.

  • You will also need a metal or hard plastic ruler to guide the blade to make a straight, clean-cut line.

  • When trimming your plaster, always cut from the excess side. This way, if you make a wrong cut, it will not damage your plaster. Cut slowly to ensure your plaster receives an accurate trim.
